Memphis Depay has assured Barcelona fans his music career won't be a distraction.
The attacker has already produced several songs and had success.
But he told Sport: "Of course I think about these things from time to time, but football is my main objective.
"Every day I work very hard and train for many hours in order to follow this dream, and that's what I'm totally focused on. Maybe I'll take it more seriously after [my football career], but for the time being it's just a hobby."
He added: "Listening to music is very important, both before the games and in day-to-day life. For example, yesterday I was eating tapas and listening to Spanish music. It's my life. When I'm in the studio, making music is like therapy. I can disconnect from football for a couple of hours and feel re-focused the next day. It's like a marriage for me."
