Everton are eyeing Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet.
Sport says new Everton boss Rafa Benitez wants to make a centre-half signing this summer and Lenglet is his priority.
The France international is available from cash-strapped Barca for the right price.
However, if a deal cannot be struck, Benitez will urge Everton to make a move for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Benitez worked with Koulibaly as Napoli coach and would be happy to bring him to Merseyside as an alternative to Lenglet.
