Tottenham must act quickly if they're to take advantage of the buyout clause in Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini's contract.

The Italy international is a target for Tottenham football chief Fabio Paratici.

But any move will have be done before the end of the month, with the €30m buyout clause in Pellegrini's deal to expire on July 31, says Gazzetta dello Sport.

The midfielder's contract is now inside it's final 12 months, though sporting director Tiago Pinto has sought to open talks about a new deal.

Pellegrini is wanted for the new season by coach Jose Mourinho.
