Tottenham are launching a swap offer for Atalanta defender Cristian Romero.
Spurs are in talks for Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and Romero this week.
A loan deal for Gollini is close to agreement, while Romero is the subject of permanent transfer interest.
Italian reporter Gianluigi Longari has revealed Tottenham are now proposing a swap deal for the defender which includes Davinson Sanchez.
Spurs are open to offers for the 25-year-old this summer but now reports claim he could be used as makeweight in return for Romero.
Coincidentally, Sanchez's agent Nestor Villarreal also represents Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata meaning he has close contact with the Serie A club.
