Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti isn't expected to see Dries Mertens until October.
Mertens is recovering from a shoulder surgery and Il Mattino reports he has not started the rehabilitation.
As such, the striker isn't expected to see action for at least another two months.
The 34 year-old's contract with Napoli expires next summer and he is fielding interest from Inter Miami of MLS.
However, his deal does include a 12 month option.
