Manchester City have insisted on a sell-on clause in their sale of Lukas Nmecha to VfL Wolfsburg.
The Germany U21 international has moved to VfL for a fee of €15m, with City including a clause of 15 per cent of any sell-on fee.
VfL chief Jörg Schmadtke has welcomed Nmecha's arrival, which could see Wout Weghorst allowed to move on.
The Holland centre-forward has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer.
Last season, Nmecha scored 18 goals in 37 games on-loan with Anderlecht.
