Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand is doing his part to help the club sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.
The tall French center back, who was at Euro 2020 with his nation this summer, is rejecting new contract offers from the Spanish giants.
As he only has a year left on his deal, Real are ready to cash in on Varane in the transfer window.
Sources such as The Independent have claimed Varane wants to join United as he is seeking a new challenge in his career.
Ferdinand was doing a Q&A on Instagram when he was asked by a follower if he could message Varane to convince him to sign for United.
Ferdinand replied: "Already have done. Agent Ferdy."
