Tottenham are in contact with Borussia Monchengladbach for Marcus Thuram.
While reluctant to sell the France attacker, Gladbach are prepared to listen to offers starting at €25m this summer.
L'Equipe says Spurs have made a move for Thuram, though will face competition from Italy, where Roma and Napoli are keen.
All three clubs are in contact with the player's agents.
The 23-year-old Thuram, who has two years left on his contract, scored eleven goals and produced twelve assists in 40 competitive matches for Gladbach last season.
