Former Arsenal defender David Luiz is yet to respond to Olympique Marseille over their latest contract offer.
Marseille coach Jorge Sampaoli is keen to sign the free agent and has met face-to-face with Luiz this summer.
However, La Provence says with no response from Luiz fielded over the past week, there's a resignation inside OM that Luiz won't be signing.
Luiz came off contract at Arsenal last month and remains keen to pursue his career in Europe.
A return to Benfica has also been mentioned for the stopper.
