Arsenal have snapped up Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga for €20m.
HLN says after an initial bid of €14m plus €3m in bonuses was turned down, Arsenal were able to return with an improved proposal on the weekend.
The initial fee of €20m will rise depending on appearances and the success of Lokonga.
The midfielder enjoyed a first training session with Arsenal yesterday afternoon. He has signed a five-year contract until 2026 and will receive the jersey number 23.
Lokonga played 78 matches for Anderlecht, scoring three goals.
