Chelsea defender Thiago Silva feels he can play into his 40s.
The Brazil captain, 36, admits he's drawing inspiration from former AC Milan teammate Paolo Maldini.
"I hope I can do the same as Paolo Maldini in Milan and play until I am 40 years old," Thiago Silva said.
"That's my plan right now. I have prepared myself and now at the age of 36 I hope to be able to continue playing football at the highest level."
Thiago Silva has a deal with Chelsea to 2022.
