Nelson Khumbeni is delighted to have signed pro terms with Norwich City.
Khumbeni has been at the club since under-9 level and has played in several positions including left-wing and striker but has settled into a central midfield role where he likes to dictate play with one and two touch football.
Speaking about signing his contract, he told the club's website: “It is very pleasing, especially having been around here for a long time. I am very grateful for this opportunity."
Having been here for a long time Nelson has seen many changes at the club's Lotus Training Centre, with modern pitches and gym facilities being installed along with a state-of-the-art academy building.
“When I first came here there were just trees and portable cabins and as time has gone, things have developed and evolved," he said. “You can see we have amazing pitches, the gym facility is superb, and then you can talk about the coaching staff, because everything there is great. It is good for your development around here."
