Galatasaray striker Ryan Babel is urging former Holland and Ajax teammate Patrick van Aanholt to join him in Istanbul.
Off contract from Crystal Palace, Van Aanholt is a Bosman target this summer for Gala.
The Turkish giants have stepped up negotiations after PSG fullback Layvin Kurzawa pulled out of talks this week. Kurzawa has instructed his agents to get him a move to England.
As such Gala are now turning to Van Aanholt and Babel is assisting the move.
The pair are good friends and Babel has been encouraging Van Aanholt to make the move - including on social media.
