VfB Stuttgart sports director Sven Mislintat insists there's no deadline to sell striker Sasa Kalajdzic.
The 24 year-old centre-forward has been linked with a move to England, where Tottenham and West Ham United are among clubs keen.
It's been suggested VfB have set interested clubs a deadline to agree terms over the player's sale.
But Mislintat told Kicker: "A deadline is of no use anyway, then someone comes with a great offer and you just look bad."
Kalajdzic scored 17 goals in 36 games last season.
