Sevilla captain Jesus Navas expects Jules Kounde to stay this season.
The France defender is being linked with Real Madrid as a replacement for Raphael Varane, who is set to join Manchester United.
But Navas insists he expects Kounde to stay.
He said: "How did I find Jules Kounde on his return (for preseason training)? I found him enthusiastic and determined upon his return.
"I hope he will stay with us."
