Bournemouth are making a new attempt for Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
Chronicle Live says Woodman's move to AFC Bournemouth could be back on as the Cherries attempt to resurrect the season long loan deal they submitted last week.
The former England Under-21 goalkeeper is wanted by Scott Parker as number 1 to replace former Chelsea stopper Asmir Begovic, who is nearing a move to Everton.
Parker is understood to deem Woodman as the best goalkeeper in the Championship last season, and wants him on board.
United have had to look after their own needs this week with Martin Dubravka set to miss part of pre-season with a foot injury.
As such, manager Steve Bruce did not want to leave himself short-handed in the keeper department hence the delay to Woodman's loan.
