New Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira is eager to sign a striker this summer.
According to The Guardian, Vieira is targeting countryman Odsonne Edouard from Celtic.
The source claims that Vieira is hoping to sign players who will push his side into the Premier League top ten next season.
Edouard, who has 83 goals for Celtic in 169 games, is someone who could take them up one or two levels.
There was a time when several top clubs around Europe wanted Edouard, but he had an indifferent last season and is not as hot a property at the moment.
