Manchester United and Marcus Rashford will soon discuss his surgery options ahead of the new season.
The England and United forward struggled with ankle and shoulder problems as the season concluded, but still went to Euro 2020 with England.
According to the Daily Mail, Rashford wants to have the operation that would keep him out for up to three months.
United hoped a few weeks' rest may have helped the issue, but will likely allow Rashford to make the final decision.
The 23-year-old was on holiday with new teammate Jadon Sancho, but feels his shoulder is still not 100 percent right.
