Edouard Mendy has won the 'Best African International' award at the Ghana Football Awards.
The Senegalese goalkeeper joined Chelsea from Rennes last summer.
He enjoyed a stellar debut season at Stamford Bridge which culminated in the Champions League final win over Manchester City.
To cap off the year, Mendy has now won the 'Best African International' award at the 2021 Ghana Football Awards.
After receiving the award, Mendy said: "I'm happy and grateful to receive this award.
"It has been an incredible year for me and winning the Champions League is one of the best achievements of my life."
