Stuart Dallas is delighted with his new deal at Leeds United.

Dallas has just signed a new three-year deal with Leeds.

“We have set that level, that benchmark last season, where we want to be," said the midfielder.

“We know expectations are going to rise, the pressure is going to rise, we're going to be under the microscope more because of how we did last season.

“People will be looking at us, wanting us to fall, wanting us to fail because that's the way the football world works, especially at a club like this, not everyone likes us.

“But we like that, it gives us a pressure and it's something we have to embrace.

“It's important we aim high and are ambitious and try and catch the teams who finished above us last season."

Dallas, 30, has committed his future to Elland Road until 2024 and hopes the next three years can be even better than his first six with the club.

“This is home for me. Since I first came to the club, the fans have taken to me like one of their own.

“This is home for my family as well and my kids are growing up here, they're settled here.

“No matter what happens, this will always be my home. It's a special place for me, it's a bit like back home for me and the people here are nice.

“The fans have really taken to me, I've got a special connection. This is a good place to play football."
