Aston Villa and Arsenal are challenging Chelsea for former Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.
The 29-year-old is available on a free transfer after his contract at Fulham expired last month.
He spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough.
Now Premier League clubs are trying to recruit the Englishman.
Chelsea have previously been linked with Bettinelli, and the Daily Mail says Aston Villa and Arsenal are also interested.
Bettinelli was called into the England squad during the 2017-2018 season following a string of excellent performances for Fulham.
