Roma coach Jose Mourinho has offered an ironic response to being reunited with his former Manchester United players Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The trio worked together during their time at Manchester United, but never appeared to see eye-to-eye.
But Mourinho has now spent time with Smalling and Mkhitaryan in his new role at Roma and was able to see the irony of their reunion.
Sharing an image of the former United duo stood near him in training, he included the following caption: "Football is a small world."
Mkhitaryan committed his future to Roma earlier this summer when signing a new deal.
