Callum Wilson has assured Newcastle United fans there's more to come from him next season.
The striker managed to net 12 goals in 26 Premier League appearances during an injury-hit campaign which saw him miss the final two weeks.
Asked if this season could be even better, Wilson told NUFC TV: "Yeah, there's always room for improvement. I think for me, 12 goals and five assists needs to be better.
"As a striker I set my standards so high, I was the top scorer for Newcastle but in comparison to the [rest of the] league, there's still a bit of a way to go.
"For me, the hard work started when we broke up and we're just continuing with it now through pre-season.
"I'd like to hit the ground running."
