Newcastle United will have to pay up if they still hope to sign Southampton's Mario Lemina this summer.

Southampton are eager to sell the Gabon midfielder to raise funds for their transfer moves.

The St. Mary's Stadium club, however, will only entertain a sale for a fee of£8 million or higher.

The 27-year-old, who was on loan at Fulham last term, is attracting interest from other teams as well.

Nice in France are eager to sign the all action midfielder, who played 30 games for Fulham last term.

Newcastle are unwilling to bid high for Lemina, but Nice may be willing to offer what Southampton are seeking, per the Daily Mail.
