Mikel Arteta is confident Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will stay at Arsenal this summer.

The Gabon international returned to the starting line-up against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday, and scored a hat-trick in the 6-0 win.

There have been reports linking Aubameyang with Manchester City.

Asked if he was concerned City could come in for Aubameyang before the transfer window shuts next week, Arteta said: "I don't know. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is our player and he will remain here."

Aubameyang, 32, penned a three-year contract extension with Arsenal last season.
