Blackpool are rivalling Swansea City in a bid to sign Manchester United defender Ethan Laird.
The 20-year-old is wanted by the Championship outfits, as he can play at both right back and centre-half.
Laird was on loan at MK Dons last term, where he played under Swansea boss Russell Martin.
According to The Sun, the Welsh side are still the favourites for his signature, despite late interest from Blackpool.
Laird played 25 times for MK Dons in League One last term.
