Leicester City have fielded inquiries from Serie A clubs for Dennis Praet.
The midfielder is said to be open to returning to Italy after signing for the Foxes from Sampdoria in 2019.
The Belgium international has not played as much as he would have liked, making just two Premier League appearances in 2021.
It is likely Leicester will move one or two players out before continuing their own recruitment, although they could add cover at centre-back depending on the severity of the injury to Jonny Evans.
Brendan Rodgers said at the weekend it was “questionable" whether Evans would be fit for the start of the campaign and is being assessed.
Leicester may look for a loan option, therefore, to cover in his position, says Sky Sports.
