Brighton boss Graham Potter has played down talk of selling Percy Tau.
Talks have been ongoing over a move for Tau to Al Ahly in Egypt.
He scored and impressed in the previous friendly, at Luton.
But he was not among the 23 players listed to face Getafe last night.
Asked after the 2-0 defeat whether there was any news on the South Africa forward, head coach Potter said: “Not, not at the moment.
“There was a personal reason why he was not at the squad.
“We will see how the weekend goes and go from there on Tuesday."
