Lazio striker Ciro Immobile had mixed emotions after his hat-trick in victory over Spezia.
Lazio won 6-1 on the day with Immobile netting his treble before halftime.
“The credit has to be shared equally with my teammates who put me in a condition to score these goals and express myself to the best of my abilities," Immobile told DAZN.
“Strikers always score a lot of goals with Maurizio Sarri, so I couldn't wait to start working with him. We also really needed the support from our fans and they were spectacular today, so hopefully even more can come to the stadium very soon."
Immobile saw his spot-kick saved by Jeroen Zoet at full stretch, but made up for it on the resulting corner.
“I was really angry with myself, as last season I missed four penalties and it annoyed me to be getting them wrong again already. I changed angle at the last second and that irritates me."
