Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has hit out at claims Sergio Aguero wants to leave.
After last night's Joan Gamper Trophy victory against Juventus, Koeman addressed rumours Aguero wanted to leave Barca after good friend Lionel Messi's dramatic departure.
But Koeman snapped on TV3: "It is a lie that Agüero wants to leave. He signed with Barça and is very happy. Too bad he was injured on Sunday morning. He couldn't play those 30 minutes. It is a step backwards. He trained well and he can contribute a lot with his quality."
It's been announced Aguero will miss three months with a calf injury.
