Frenkie de Jong says Barcelona are in good shape at this stage of preseason.
The Dutchman, speaking during the club's trip to Germany, where they beat Stuttgart 3-0 on Saturday, says the team are working hard and are prepared for a very demanding season.
We have improved this season in respect to the previous campaign," De Jong said. "We're growing as a team. The atmosphere is very good and there's a lot of quality.
"The youngsters coming in are very strong and have a lot of talent. I see a strong squad capable of fighting for everything.
"It's always said that things improve in the second year of a coach. In the second year, we all know each other better and the adaption is quicker.
"We're clear that we're going to have opportunities to fight and win important trophies. We're desperate to fight for everything."
