Spurs are close to securing the signing of Christian Romero from Atalanta, after agreeing on a fee with the Italian outfit.
Now they are turning their attention to the duo of Damsgaard and Madueke as they strengthen for the upcoming Premier League season, per the Evening Standard.
While both signings are unlikely, Spurs do want to sign a creative midfielder of that ilk.
Damsgaard has a value of close to €50 million, with Italian club Sampdoria determined to cash in on their prized asset.
England U21 star Madueke, who came through the youth rank at Spurs, may be seen as a more affordable alternative.
