Southampton and Chelsea are close to an agreement over the season-long loaning of young striker Armando Broja.
The 19-year-old is highly rated at Chelsea, while he spent the early part of preseason working with the first team squad under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel.
Given the Blues have several high profile forwards competing for a first team spot when everyone is fit, Broja may feel he has a better chance of regular playing time at Southampton.
According to football.london, the two clubs are in advanced talks over a loan deal that would see Broja featuring regularly in the Premier League.
Southampton would get a much-needed replacement for departed center forward Danny Ings, who moved to Southampton.
