Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo was pleased with Harry Kane's contribution in the win over Wolves on Sunday.

Kane continues to be linked with a move to Manchester City after informing Spurs chief Daniel Levy of his desire to leave Spurs this summer.

Despite the speculation, Kane made his first appearance of the season by coming off the bench in the 1-0 win at Molineux.

"I think he did well," Nuno said of Kane. "He helped the team. He had a good chance.

"Harry is still in the process of increasing and improving his level of fitness because he's one of the best players in the world. You could see the way he helped the team in terms of possession and the fine lines. We need everybody, we need everybody."

Asked if Kane would face Pacos De Ferreira in their Europa Conference League qualifier on Thursday, Nuno replied: "I cannot answer you that it's too soon. Now we are going to recover and prepare for the next one.

"Like we always do the same way and make the decisions that we should take. Now I cannot answer you that, I'm sorry."
