Harry Kane has told Tottenham football chief Fabio Paratici he wants to leave.

The Mirror says Kane met with Paratici last week to reaffirm his commitment to force a transfer away from the club, reports say.

Kane remains desperate to leave Spurs to join Manchester City before the transfer window closes on August 31.

City have already seen a £100million bid rejected out of hand by Tottenham, who are determined to keep hold of their talismanic striker.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has made it clear he does not consider Kane to be up for sale, regardless of what City offer.

Kane is under contract for a further three seasons, having signed a bumper six-year contract in 2018, and is running out of time to have his wish granted.
