Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro says they showed good character for victory at Real Betis.
Casemiro admits they needed to grind out the result on the day.
He said, "It's always tough to come and play here, the key was the effort from everyone. We have to congratulate them, we gave it everything we had.
"We started well in the opening ten minutes and then they controlled the game, but they didn't create many chances and that's vital.
“Playing against Betis is always difficult because they have quality players. We have to carry on in the same vein. There's still a very long way to go in LaLiga, we're working well and this is the way to win titles. These are three very important points."
