Everton boss Rafa Benitez was pleased with the point earned at Leeds United on Saturday.
Everton twice led Leeds United, goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Demarai Gray cancelled out by Mateusz Klich and Raphinha.
“I think Leeds were pushing from the beginning, but we reacted well, especially in the second half – we had, little-by-little, more chances," said Benitez.
"We had the chance to score the third goal and maybe we could be talking about something different.
“I am really pleased, because of the way we did in the first game, the reaction of the players [Everton beat Southampton after trailing 1-0], and today, the way we were pushing and working so hard from the beginning until the end.
“We were adjusting our position on the pitch to control the match better. Then, we had more chances, the positions were more dangerous, and we were maybe close to winning the game.
"But, overall, I think the result is fair
“We could see [against Southampton] how good our fans were for us.
“And we could see, today, how good Leeds' fans were for them.
“In terms of the mentality, the way our team was battling against all the things around, I am really pleased with that."
