Ben White admitted mixed emotions after a losing Arsenal debut at Brentford.
Goals from Sergi Canos and Christian Norgaard ensured we left Brentford without any points on the opening evening of the Premier League season.
White told the club's website: "It was obviously a disappointing start. I think we created some chances and could have had some goals, but we didn't today and they did.
On his debut, White also said: "Obviously it's an unbelievable feeling that's clouded by the result.
"It's both boxes, isn't it. If you don't score goals and concede, that's where they got away from us."
On missing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, he added: "Obviously they're massive players, but we've got enough quality in the squad to do it."
