Radja Nainggolan has been released from his contract at Inter Milan.

The midfielder is now set to sign with Cagliari.

"FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Radja Nainggolan's contract with the club has been terminated by mutual consent," read an Inter statement.

The contract was due to expire at the end of the season and, according to Sky Sport Italia, they agreed the Belgium international would receive 50 per cent of the remaining salary.

The 33-year-old made just 41 competitive appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
