Liverpool have released six youngsters from their preseason training camp.

Brazilian contingent Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Fabinho joined the squad at the weekend as they began the final leg of their overseas retreat in the French town of Evian, says the Liverpool Echo.

Jordan Henderson is the only senior player yet to resume training, with the Liverpool skipper not expected to start until the party return to England ahead of next week's Anfield friendlies against Athletic Bilbao and Osasuna.

And the increase in numbers has prompted the Redsto send a group of youngsters back to Kirkby to continue their pre-season work.

Goalkeeper Harvey Davies, right-back Conor Bradley, centre-back Billy Koumetio, midfielders Jake Cain and Tyler Morton along with forward Mateusz Musialowski all left for home when the squad moved from Austria to Evian.
