Watford boss Xisco Munoz insists Ismaila Sarr will only leave for big money before this week's transfer deadline.
Sarr and Watford travel to Tottenham on Sunday where Harry Kane has decided to stay for now after Manchester City failed to match Daniel Levy's valuation of the England captain.
And with big clubs including Liverpool looking at Sarr, Munoz hopes he will still be a Watford player when the transfer window closes this week.
He said: "It's always the same in the transfer market - everybody speaks about the top players and Sarr is a very good player, a top player.
"It's normal there are rumours about him, but if you are asking if I want him here and to stay at the club then yes because he's so very good."
Asked if it would take a big offer to take him away, Munoz responded: "For me, sure, because he's a top, top player."
