Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy believes that coach Thomas Tuchel deserves a lot of credit for their excellent defensive record.
The Blues shot-stopper has managed 26 clean sheets in 46 appearances since joining the club last summer.
That is the best ratio of clean sheets to starts for any Chelsea goalkeeper, who has played more than 20 games for the club.
Asked who deserved some of the credit for that run, Mendy highlighted his coach.
"He is a real leader," Mendy told the club website.
He added: "The idea of a group is something that the coach has directly established.
"It is something that got stronger with good results. We saw that when we gave great performances. Every time we gave great performances, they were great collective performances.
"So, that shows you that we have only succeeded as a team, and that forges closer bonds between us. On the pitch, we play for our brothers because we are a family, and we do things as a family."
