Barcelona president Joan Laporta says Lionel Messi isn't short of offers after his departure was confirmed.
It was announced last night that Messi was leaving Barca after the collapse of contract talks.
Laporta addressed the media this morning: "The best player in the world has other proposals.
"I don't want to generate false expectations. He has other proposals and there is a time limit because La Liga starts soon.
"This negotiation is over and the agreements could not come about because of the La Liga salary limit."
PSG and Manchester City are early candidates to deal in Messi.
