However, Sport says Monaco, Nice and Besiktas are now all in contact about taking Umtiti on-loan for the new season.
Barca are eager to do business and wish to include a permanent option in any loan arrangement.
But there remains a stumbling block, with Umtiti still convinced he can win over coach Ronald Koeman and find a place in his plans this season.
