Manchester United have lowered their asking price for Jesse Lingard.

The Englishman scored for United in a friendly win over Burnley on Tuesday.

Despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's assertion that Lingard will be play a big role for his side this season, the United hierarchy have lowered their valuation of the 28-year-old.

The Express says interested clubs can now sign the United academy graduate for £20m instead of £30m.

Arsenal, West Ham United and Everton have all been linked with Lingard.

Following a successful loan spell with West Ham last season, Hammers assistant Stuart Pearce admitted this week that the east London club would be happy to re-sign Lingard.

Pearce said: "The ball is in Manchester United's court.

"He is contracted to them. We would like him with us, there is no doubt about that."
