Chelsea have discovered that Sevilla have increased the release clause for defender Jules Kounde.
The Blues are keen admirers of the young French centre-back, who can also play at right back.
According to Marca, Sevilla will only sell for Kounde's €80 million release clause, and have no interest in player swaps.
However, Kounde's release clause will also rise slightly as we get closer to the August 31st deadline.
His clause will sit at €90 million by the end of the month.
If Chelsea do wish to sign Kounde this summer, they will be hoping to seal a deal with Sevilla in the coming days.
