Barcelona are pushing to close a deal for Kayseripor prospect Emre Demir.
Sport says Demir will be signed from Kayserispor, although he'll immediately be loaned back to his current club to continue his development in Turkey.
Several clubs were reportedly interested in the 17-year-old midfielder, who can play as a winger but also as an inside midfielder, but Joan Laporta's involvement in the deal has made this signing possible.
The deal is believed to be worth four million euros, plus some potential future add-ons.
As a youngster, he had trials at Barcelona and also PSG, although he never actually joined either of those clubs. He made his senior debut in Turkey aged 15 and is expected to have a bright future ahead of him.
