Southampton have snapped up Everton fullback Thierry Small.
The 17 year-old moves to Saints after coming off contract at Everton this summer. Small became the club's youngest ever debutant earlier this year when he faced Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup at the age of 16.
He has signed a three-year contract and manager Ralph Hasenhüttl is pleased with the deal.
Hasenhuttl said, "I am very pleased that we are again able to bring in a new and talented young player, and especially when there were again several clubs that were interested in him."
Small is regarded among the best young English players of his generation.
