Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell was left baffled by the lead-up to Friday night's defeat at Brentford.

Campbell says the absences of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette remain a mystery.

He told Sky Sports: "I'm not sure what's going on. Something is awry, something isn't right, right up until the game Aubameyang and Lacazette were virtually in the starting line-up and then all of a sudden, they're out.

"If they're ill, let us know what it is. But I just think there's some infighting going on.

"Arsenal don't need this because there's some serious work to be done."
