Tanguy Ndombele is set to remain with Tottenham.
The France midfielder has not seen any action for Spurs under manager Nuno - including in preseason.
However, Le 10 Sport says both Ndombele and Spurs accept he will remain with the Lilywhites when the deadline falls tonight.
Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig had been linked with the midfielder, but both personal terms and Spurs' valuation have proved too rich for all suitors concerned.
Ndombele appears set to remain in the stands at Spurs until the market reopens in January.
